reach us
Villa Angela is located on the west side of the island of Ischia, set in a large garden just 800 m from Citara Beach (1,200 m from the Poseidon Thermal Gardens), 900 m from Cava dell’Isola, 1,600 m from the historic center of Forio, and 30 m from a bus stop with direct connections all over the island (lines 171, 172, 198, 197).
We offer free private parking and are easy to reach by car. From Ischia Porto (11 km) or Casamicciola (7 km), follow the main road (SP ex SS 270) toward Forio, turn left at the roundabout by the port/center of Forio, then continue for about 1.8 km toward Panza–Sant’Angelo. Our address is Via Provinciale Panza 220 – Forio.
For guests arriving by hydrofoil at the port of Forio (Alilauro), we provide a free transfer to the hotel.
We can also arrange paid transfers from Naples airport or train station, and from the ports of Ischia or Casamicciola.
How to reach us
By Plane
For guests arriving in Naples by plane, it is possible to reach the Port of Naples – Molo Beverello, the boarding point for hydrofoils to the islands:
- By taxi (ask for the fixed fare)
- By Alibus, which connects the airport and the train station directly to the port every 20 minutes, cost €5.00 per person, ticket purchased on board.
Alternatively, we can arrange a personalized transfer from the airport or train station to the hotel.
By Train
For guests arriving in Naples by train, we recommend reaching Molo Beverello by taxi or metro, avoiding trams and buses.
From Molo Beverello, depending on the schedule, we suggest taking the Alilauro hydrofoil to the port of Forio, where we can pick you up for free.
Alternatively, other hydrofoils (Caremar, Alilauro, Snav) or ferries (Caremar, Medmar) to Ischia Porto or Casamicciola are available. Tickets can be purchased directly on the shipping companies’ websites with a credit card.
Once on the island of Ischia, you can reach us from all ports using the local buses 171 – 172 – 198. We are 11 km from Ischia Porto (bus terminal), 7 km from Casamicciola port, and 1.5 km from Forio port.
Transfer
We can arrange a personalized transfer from Naples airport or train station to the hotel.
The cost may vary not only depending on the number of passengers but also on the type of vessel used (hydrofoil or ferry) and the arrival port (Forio, Casamicciola, Ischia Porto), which will be selected according to the best connections. By providing us with your arrival time, we can prepare a quotation.

By Car
From the Rome-Naples motorway, proceed in the direction of Naples until reaching the Tangenziale exit; continue on the Tangenziale to the Pozzuoli exit in Via Campana, and follow the signs for the port of Pozzuoli.

To reach us, once you land on the island, follow the state road towards Forio. We are about 1.5 km after the center of Forio continuing towards Panza / Sant’Angelo, address Via Provinciale Panza 220 – Forio
Garage
For guests traveling by car who prefer to leave it in Pozzuoli, we have an agreement with Garage Marser, located at Rampa Aurelio Saffi 2, at a cost of €13.00 per day.
The garage is always open, video-monitored, and covered.
Reservation is required, stating “Hotel Villa Angela, Federalberghi agreement.”
